I only hear the noise under heavy acceleration from stop or while rolling. 5L I just purchased this car (Aug 2016), and it didn't make this noise during the test drive (rainy day). Sorry if it has been covered before. it was the DAMN bolt. loud clunking noise when driving. > is a clanking noise as opposed to a grinding noise. The noise is more noticeable when driving at low speed 0-25 mph (noise not as noticeable when going highway speed 45-65mph since road noise is greater).
